Lesson 4-CSS

I have understood the importance of CSS and how it is linked to HTML. When writing HTML, we can minimize the amount of commands by just applying the simple concept of the External Style sheet of CSS. CSS is i a way very complex, yet if you can understand it, you will find it a piece of a cake.I like this kind of way to help and aid our HTML and this was an enriching opportunity.
This lesson has benefited me greatly and i have picked up many learning points that will help me in my IS. This was an good experience experimenting with a ands-on External Style Sheet Challenge. I like the effective out-of-the-classroom experience and hope to receive more future assignments like this.

lesson 3

Lesson 3, this lesson was very interesting, taught in a unique manner, normally in my primary school, our IT teachers just drone on and on about this and that, leaving most of us helpless. Whereas for this time, we get to explore the world of notepad-HTML, furthermore, this was a group work which boosted the learning points of this lesson greatly. I look forward to doing more assignments like this in the future. The learning Points that I have learned are the notepad and the HTML-webpage via notepad, I hope that I will learn more in the future, as this points were extremely beneficial and important to me.

lesson 2

Lesson 2 involves a Forum Discussion which i greatly enjoyed. i picked up many learning points from those discussions especially the heated argument between which was better, blogs or websites? I was very supportive of websites as i think that websites are easier to maintain than blogs. I have picked many of my classmates' opinion of the discussion, generally, i think that my side has lost as many people think that blogs are better than websites and have the misconception that all websites cost money to create which is not true.

My Internet knowledge.

I have not exactly a Computer-Technics expert and programming is not exactly what i would do if i had some free time. However i would not pretend i have never heard of the Internet or the WWW.
Here is a basic touch-up of the IT-knowledge of my family. My mother who once worked for a computer firm that writes pro-grammes is the best in programming in my family. My father takes second in my family and would be said to know a lot about the WWW. He spends a lot of time in blogging etc. While in would rather play computer games and go on to Facebook, i also like blogging and discussions.

Lesson 1

The first lesson was interesting, the many useful information and learning points that i have picked up has greatly increased my knowledge about the Internet. I hadn't knew so much about the World Wide Web until i watched those slides.
The History of the Internet was intriguing, the statistics showed that the internet is very
popular. Before i went through the slides i only knew about the three types of cables, IP address, the basic knowledge like home pages and browsers. However my knowledge of the World Wide Web and the Internet was increased drastically by reading those slides.
I like the IS lesson very much and i hope to learn more knowledge of it in the future.
